Fashion Show 2026 Photoshoot Cast Call
Our participation list is full! To join the 2026 PADRE Foundation Fashion Show waitlist click the button below!
If your child, 5 year old to 18 years old, would like to participate in the Fashion Show on Saturday, May 2, 2026, join the waitlist now.
If you have already registered, and received a confirmation, you’ll receive an email the third week of December with all details in regards to the photoshoot. This will include your photoshoot time slot, outfit guidelines, and other important information.

Please note that we are only able to accommodate 50 models in this years show between the ages of 5 and 18.
A mandatory parent meeting will take place on January 12, 2026 from 6:30-8pm. We will be going over information on the New Venue location, event attire, parent tables, volunteers, raffle tickets, silent auction, fundraising goals, and much more!

Teen Night Out
Grab your crew and get ready for a night of good vibes, great company, and friendly fun! This event is made for teens with Type 1 diabetes to kick back, connect, and celebrate being unapologetically themselves. Guess what ? You can bring a friend that isn’t T1d.
We will be adventuring into an Escape Room challenge. You’ll team up, crack the clues, and race the clock with friendly puzzles and surprises included! More details to follow.

Against the Current T1d Burnout Workshop
Parents and teens affected by Type 1 diabetes, we know how overwhelming and exhausting the T1D journey can feel. Join us for a NEW burnout workshop on SATURDAY, March 7, 2026 from 9am-1pm at the Wade Center on CHOC Orange Campus.
This event will feature impactful speakers, panels, and breakout sessions designed to help you process emotions, reset, and find renewed strength as a parent or teen. So come on out and spend a few hours connecting with others who understand life with T1D, gaining practical tools, and hearing meaningful insight from those who’ve been there and T1d specialist.
Lunch is provided. This FREE event is open to parents and teens.

Holiday Party

This will take place on the evening of Tuesday, December 9 from 5:30-8pm. We will enjoy a night of group games, food, gifts, giveaways, unlimited arcade play and connecting with our families living with t1d at Dave & Busters in Orange. All for a low price of $8 per person!

Gather your towels, sunblock, boogie boards, snacks, drinks, beach toys, diabetes supplies and anything else you may need to enjoy your day at the PADRE Family Beach Day. Spend the early afternoon with friends and families of Type 1’s at Bolsa Chica State Beach.
The PADRE Team will be there from 10am-1pm and we can’t wait to see you!
This event is FREE to attend but parking is $20. We will update our lifeguard tower location on the morning of the event and text it to you!

PADRE Park Day
On April 5, from 10-1pm, come and enjoy a day at the park with the PADRE team and families living with Type 1 diabetes. Park Day is free, and will be held at Huntington Beach Central Park at Slater playground. Bring a lunch, lawn chairs, blankets, low snacks, and everything needed for a great day in the sun. Riding the Wave of Type 1 Diabetes

Parents, grandparents, and teens affected by Type 1 diabetes: we know how hard living with Type 1 diabetes can be, and we've organized a one-of-a-kind event to address feelings you may be experiencing. Take a few hours to reset and connect with others on this T1d journey while listening to an impactful speaker.

Fashion Show 2025 Photoshoot Cast Call
Join us in celebrating our 40th Anniversary of the PADRE Foundation at this year’s Fashion Show Gala. This is a great opportunity to make connections, see old friends, raise funds, and have a blast while doing so! If your child, or teen, is interested in participating in the May 10th show, please register using the form below.
After registration has taken place, an email to schedule your photoshoot time slot, what to wear, and all other details will be sent to you the first week of December.

Los Angeles County School Nurse Training
Listen to clinical presentations from Los Angeles-based Endocrinologists, watch hands-on demonstrations of Type 1 diabetes technology, and earn Continuing Education Units.
